An Armstrong County woman is facing child endangerment and assault charges after an encounter with emergency medical technicians Tuesday, according to State Police in Kittanning.

Ashley Hiles, 31, of Cowansville, shoved emergency medical technicians and became aggressive as they responded to a call for a possible overdose on Hollow Road in Washington Township, Armstrong County, according to the police report.

The emergency medical technicians also found loaded heroin needles on the floor in the proximity of a 10-month-old child, the police report said.

Hiles is being held at the Armstrong County Jail on $15,000 bond.
