Traffic restrictions will start Tuesday morning on the bridge carrying Butler Logan Road over Route 28 in Frazer, PennDOT announced Monday.
Traffic will be reduced to a single, alternating lane controlled by temporary traffic signals. The restriction is expected to start at 7 a.m. Tuesday and be in place through late September.
One, 11-foot wide lane will be maintained on the bridge, PennDOT said.
Rehabilitation work on the bridge will include bridge deck replacement, painting of the entire structure, bearing replacement, drainage improvements, and guardrail upgrades.
The work is part of a $6.9 million project including two bridges. It’s expected to be finished in late fall this year.
