Freeport Theatre Festival to present ‘Over the River and Through the Woods’
The Freeport Theatre Festival will present the comedy “Over the River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro at 7 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays Sept. 13 to 29 at the theater located on the Steele Family Farm, 2498 White Cloud Road in Allegheny Township.
Pre-show revels will feature Joe Lege on the accordion. Tickets are $15; members of the military and senior citizens, $12; students, $10. Reservations are recommended. The facility is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible. Free parking is available.

Drive-thru food distribution set Tuesday at Pittsburgh Mills
Allegheny Valley Association of Churches and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-thru food distribution for anyone in need from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Tuesday in parking lot of the former JC Penney store at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills, Frazer.
Reservations are not required. Do not arrive before 4 p.m. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.
