Evening of activities planned at Kiski Valley YMCA
Kiski Valley YMCA will host an event of fun for adults from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Y, 511 Hyde Park Road, Allegheny Township

Adventures with Wine dinner to benefit Peoples Library
The Peoples Library Adventure with Wine dinner will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 15 at the New Kensington library, 880 Barnes St.
Several wines will be paired with food presented by Hoffstot’s Cafe Monaco of Oakmont and there will be a basket auction. Food stations will include chopped apple gorgonzola salad, pumpkin bisque, goat cheese and smoked salmon crostini, coconut chicken skewers, seared pork tenderloin and a gelato bar with smores and caramel apple gelato.
