Annual coat drive to benefit Highlands students
The fifth annual Winter-Ready Rams coat drive to benefit children in the Highlands School District will continue through Oct. 31.
New and gently-used childrens coats can be dropped off in bins at the concession stand during the home varsity and junior varsity football games and at bins at 200 Banbury Lane, 66 Spruce St., and 233 Chinkapin Drive, all in Natrona Heights, Harrison; 1023 Stieren Ave., Brackenridge; and 344 W. 10th Ave., Tarentum. Please ship online donations to the 200 Banbury Lane address.
Coats will be available at the Nov. 11 parent/teacher conferences at the schools.
Animal Protectors requesting donations
Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley is accepting donations of pet food and supplies for its community pantry in New Kensington.
