Volunteers needed for River Road cleanup in Parks
Kiskiminetas Watershed Association will sponsor a litter cleanup at 9 a.m. Saturday along River Road in Parks.
Volunteers are needed. This is a roadside cleanup, so the event is not suitable for young children. Orange vests and gloves will be provided.
To offer your time, meet at the parking lot of Champion’s Crusaders, 2687 River Road. Visit Kiskiminetas Watershed Association on Facebook the day of the event for possible weather cancellation information.
Comedy night to benefit Dynamic Community Foundation
A comedy club night to benefit Dynamic Community Foundation will be Saturday at River Forest Country Club, 130 Club House Drive, Allegheny Township.
Lily’s restaurant will open at 5 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. Wolfie’s Comedy Troupe will be featured and there will be dinner and drink specials. Admission is $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
