Annual St. Joseph HS golf fundraiser set for June 10

The 30th annual St. Joseph High School Spartan Golf Scramble will be June 10 at Lenape Heights Golf Resort, Manor Township.

Check-in will begin at 10:30 a.m. and a shotgun start will be at noon. There will be a picnic lunch, golf, a cash bar, dinner and a raffle. Non-golfers are welcome to attend the dinner at 4:30 p.m.

Cost is $150 per person and includes lunch, cart and dinner. Dinner tickets are $25. Sponsorship opportunities are available. For details and a registration form, click visit saintjosephhs.com/tickets.

Help needed at New Kensington Salvation Army

Family movie series to feature, ‘Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax’

The free Allegheny County Family Drive-in Movie series planned Saturday in Boyce Park wave pool parking lot will be, “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” rated PG.

Reservations are required. To register, visit alleghenycounty.us/special-events. Gates open at 6 p.m. and close at dusk when the movie starts. There is a 100-vehicle limit. Audio is played through a radio transmitter on 87.9 FM.
