West Deer parish to host revival
A free all-day tent revival will be June 25 at the St. Victor Church campus of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, 531 Bairdford Road, West Deer.
Check-in will be from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Speakers will include Mike Shipe, the Rev. Joe Mele and Sharon Heckman. Groups scheduled to perform include Miss Freddye and the Glory Be Jazz Band and the parish contemporary choir.
Lunch will be served at 12:15 p.m., a Holy Hour will begin at 3 p.m. and Mass will be celebrated at 4 p.m. Reservations are required. For reservations, visit ollakes.org.
Summer lunch program planned by Springdale library
Springdale Free Public Library will have a summer lunch and recreation program for children in kindergarten through sixth grade in local parks.
Sessions will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 27 through July 28. Days and locations are:
• Mondays, Williams Street Park in Springdale.
• Wednesdays, Rachel Carson Park in Cheswick,
• Thursdays, Acme Park in Harmar.
