Location changed for benefit bike run
A bike run to benefit the Alle-Kiski Hope Center will be Aug. 13 beginning at the Apollo Eagles, 415 N. Warren Ave.
Event day check-in will be at 9:30 a.m. and kickstands up will be at 11 a.m. Advance registrations through Aug. 1 will cost $20 per bike and $5 for passenger and include admission to a pig roast and afterparty. After that date, registration will be $25 per bike and $5 per passenger. Admission to the pig roast and concert only is $10. All vehicles are welcome.
Stops will be at the Tarentum Veterans of Foreign Wars, Shooting Bull Tavern, 508 Route 380, Washington Township; Cool Water Saloon, 1359 Route 56, Kiski Township; and Whiskey Throttled, 12416 Route 422, Kittanning Township. The event is being held in memory of Ariele Jenniches to raise awareness of domestic violence. To register, email crystalpa@comcast.net.
