Help available to apply for subsidized child care

Allegheny Family Network North will offer the opportunity for parents to meet with a family specialist from the Early Learning Resource Center, the agency that manages the Child Care Works program funded through the Department of Human Services.

The subsidized child care program helps low-income families pay their child care fees. Parents can meet with the family specialist to find out if they meet guidelines to qualify for the program, complete an application, get contact information about childcare facilities and learn about the process and benefits.

Appointments are available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Allegheny Family Network North office, 1600 Pacific Ave., suite 10, Natrona Heights, Harrison. Walk-ins are welcome.
