Library sponsoring annual Quilt Show
Community Library of Allegheny Valley in Harrison is hosting its 23rd annual Quilt Show through Saturday online.
Online voting will continue through Saturday. Categories are hand-quilted, machine-quilted or wall hanging. There is no cost to vote on a quilt. The quilt with the most votes in each category will be awarded a prize on Tuesday.

Vandergrift Library looking for online guest readers
Vandergrift Public Library is seeking volunteers to participate in its Guest Reader series March 1 to 7 during Read Across America week.
Readers can be patrons, any member of the community, children with permission and local business owners and can select their own book. Students can qualify for volunteer hours.
Selections will be approved by the library director. The series will premier March 1 to 7 on the library website and social media. Story readings must be prerecorded videos, be no longer than 10 minutes and emailed to director Vanessa Groholski by Feb. 22.

Fawn seeking volunteer to serve on township sewage authority
Fawn Township is seeking a resident to volunteer their time to serve a five-year term on the township sewage authority board.
