New Caring Cabinet opens in Oakmont
Oakmont United Methodist Church, 419 Maryland Ave., has a new Caring Cabinet for those in need.
The cabinet contains canned goods and non-perishable food items. Take items as you need them and feel free to add items for others. Leave a prayer request inside for the church prayer group. For details; call the church at 412-828-9499.
Vandergrift Meals On Wheels seeks volunteers
Vandergrift Meals On Wheels is in need of regular and substitute volunteers to help with food packing, driving and delivering.

Cat rescue accepting food donations
Frankie’s Friends Cat Rescue in New Kensington is seeking donations of canned cat food.
Contributions can be dropped off from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at the rescue, 730 Fifth Ave.
