Plum students and staff to conduct toy drive
Students and staff of the Plum School District in collaboration with Rachel’s Challenge will host a Stuff the Bus event from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the high school bus lot to benefit Toys For Tots.
New, unwrapped toys will be collected and there will be face painting, Bundt cakes, cookies, popcorn, hot chocolate and candy canes.
American Cancer Society seeks volunteer drivers
The American Cancer Society is looking for volunteers to drive cancer patients to treatment appointments.
Access to timely, high-quality treatment can often be a cancer patient’s largest roadblock to survival. The society’s Road to Recovery program fills the gap when friends and family are unable to help out.

Santa to visit Lower Burrell neighborhoods
Lower Burrell Volunteer Fire Company No. 3 will drive Santa Claus through the city Tuesday and Wednesday evenings beginning at 6 p.m.
