Drive-through food distribution set at Lernerville Speedway

Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will host a drive-through food distribution for anyone in need from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lernerville Speedway, 313 N. Pike Road, Buffalo Township. Reservations are no longer required. Guests should remain in their vehicles and open their door or trunk and will be served on a first come, first served basis.

Guests will complete a short registration process onsite. Each household must complete an annual self-declaration of need form to receive food.

Senior Expo planned Tuesday in Armstrong County

The Armstrong County Senior Expo will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at Kittanning Township Volunteer Fire Department, 13126 State Route 422.

Representatives of local organizations and businesses, health associations as well as state and federal agencies will provide information on health care, insurance, nutrition and exercise, fire safety, financial planning and personal safety. There will be a free prescription drug disposal service, door prizes and free health screenings.
