Tarentum police said they are looking for men who stole two vehicles and entered many others in the borough overnight, according to police Chief Bill Vakulick.

Police said several young men were captured on surveillance footage entering vehicles in the area of East 10th Avenue and Mill and Butler streets.

One vehicle was taken from Butler Street and another was taken from Park Street, Vakulick said.

Both were found in the First United Presbyterian Church parking lot on Lock Street.

Vakulick said the thieves did not force their way into either vehicle. Both had been unlocked with the keys left inside.

While many more were entered, Vakulick said police did not have reports of anything else being taken.

Police included surveillance video of the men believed to have been involved on the department’s Facebook page.

“We understand that the footage is grainy, but someone may notice the clothing or characteristics of one of the suspects,” the police department said in a post on its Facebook page.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 724-224-1515 or 412-473-3056.

Vakulick urged residents to not leave keys or valuables in their vehicles and to lock the doors.
