A woman reported missing early Sunday in Kiski Township, Armstrong County, was found safe more than eight hours later in Indiana County.

According to township police, Robin Bohannon, 36, who lives in the Clymer area, was considered endangered when she was reported missing about 1:30 a.m. She left a residence along Route 156 wearing only jeans and a T-shirt, police said.

A state police aviation unit joined an initial ground search along Route 156 that failed to locate Bohannon. Other agencies taking part in the search were police from Kiski and Gilpin townships and firefighters from Kiski Township and North Apollo, along with Greensburg Fire Department bloodhounds.

Bohannon eventually was found about 10 a.m. Sunday in the town of Indiana, according to Kiski Township police.

Police said they would not release information on the circumstances involved in locating Bohannon because they are continuing an investigation of the case.
