A tractor-trailer truck knocked down a utility pole in Oklahoma Borough along Route 66 near Naser Foods on Friday night, knocking out power for a short time.

Westmoreland County dispatchers said no injuries were reported in connection with the crash around 8:15 p.m.

The road closed from Sheridan Road to Trunzo Lane in Apollo.

West Penn Power crews were notified of the incident, which is believed to have been responsible for knocking out power to the Kiski Area High School football field during its game against Shaler Area.

It is unclear when the road would reopen. Power had been restored by 9 p.m.
