An Armstrong County man was found sleeping in the woods a few miles from his home in Buffalo Township following a 24-hour search. He was taken to a hospital to be evaluated after officials found him on March 27, 2019.

UPDATE: Walker was found unharmed a few miles from his home about 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2019, officials said.

Police plan to resume their search Wednesday morning for a missing man with dementia in Armstrong County.

Paul Walker, 70, was last seen at his farm on Walker Road in North Buffalo around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, an Armstrong County 911 dispatcher said.

Walker weighs 190-pounds and is 5-feet 8-inches tall. He was last seen wearing a tan hooded jacket, blue jeans and Velcro shoes.

A dispatcher said authorities plan to start looking for Walker again at 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Anyone with information about Walker’s whereabouts should call 911.
