Police: Kiski woman accused of burning infant with cigarette tried to intimidate child's mother
A Kiski Township woman accused of burning a 1-year-old with a cigarette faces more charges after allegedly trying to intimidate and harass the girl’s mother.
Kiski Township Police charged Lisa Culp, 46, with intimidation, stalking and harassment on Tuesday, according to court records.
Police previously charged Culp with aggravated assault, endangering the welfare of children, and simple assault on April 28. Township police allege she repeatedly burned the girl’s arm with a cigarette on April 22.
The new charges “stem from Culp attempting to intimidate and harass the mother of the infant into recanting her complaint to the police,” police said.
On the original charges, Culp had been released on an unsecured $15,000 bond.
Culp is scheduled for a hearing revoking her bond, along with preliminary hearings on both sets of charges, on June 3 before District Judge James Andring in Leechburg, a court official said.
