Plum residents gather for Christmas at Plum Creek
Plum residents gathered for the annual Christmas at Plum Creek on Thursday evening.
This marks the second year the event was held at the borough’s new municipal center on Old Mine Road. A recently completed outdoor amphitheater was used for the first time, with the Plum High School Jazz Band scheduled to take the stage.
Other holiday music performances were to include the high school’s string quartet inside the municipal center and strolling carolers.
The event included live reindeer, food trucks, a Santa Shoppe, free hot chocolate, games for kids, a visit by Santa, crafts, and train and gingerbread house displays.
Those attending were encouraged to bring toys to donate to Toys for Tots.
Sponsors included Grasinger Homes, the Plum Rotary, Holiday Park Apartments, the Plum Community Center, S&T Bank, Oakmont Bakery and Soxman Funeral Homes.
