A Plum drug dealer, who ran a drug trafficking operation through the Heinz Lofts apartments in Pittsburgh’s North Shore, was sentenced to 10 years in federal prison.
Brandon Winters, 43, pleaded guilty to possession with intent to deliver heroin, fentanyl and cocaine in September.
Senior U.S. District Judge Nora Barry Fischer sentenced Winters on Thursday.
Authorities said FBI and state police executed a search warrant in January 2019 at a Pittsburgh apartment used by Winters and two alleged co-conspirators, Eduard Rijo and Erick Martinez.
Agents found the men inside along with about 1,500 bricks of heroin mixed with fentanyl, more than a half kilo of cocaine and more than $250,000 in cash.
Authorities said Winters admitted his criminal conduct was motivated by selfishness, greed and addiction.
The judge also sentenced him to five years probation following his release from incarceration.
The case against Winters’ alleged co-conspirators is pending.
