Free summer meals offered at 5 locations in Highlands School District

The federal Summer Food Service Program offers free meals to children up to age 18 when school is not in session.

Summer food programs will be available at five locations in Highlands School District this year.

The federal program offers free breakfast, lunch and snacks to children up to age 18 when school is not in session.

The Highlands school year ends June 7.

Four locations in Highlands will run from June 10 to Aug. 9:

Central Presbyterian Church, 305 Allegheny St., Tarentum

Monday-Tuesday; Thursday-Friday

Breakfast hours: 9 to 10 a.m.

Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m.

Grace United Methodist Church, 1333 Freeport Road, Harrison

Monday-Wednesday

Lunch: 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Natrona Ball Field, River Road, Harrison

Monday-Friday

Lunch: 11 to 12 p.m.

Snack: 2 to 3 p.m.

Sheldon Park, 408 Park Ave., Harrison

Monday-Friday

Breakfast: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.

Lunch: 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.

One location will run from June 12 to July 24:

Bridgepoint Church, 400 E. 9th Ave., Tarentum

Wednesdays

Lunch: Noon to 1 p.m.

Snack: 3 to 4 p.m.

No paperwork is required.
