Chipotle at Pittsburgh Mills complex set to open
Burrito lovers in the Alle-Kiski Valley soon will have a new place to get their fix.
Representatives from Chipotle Mexican Grill announced the restaurant will open Wednesday at the Pittsburgh Mills complex in Frazer.
The new restaurant is at 1003 Village Center Drive, in the Lowe’s parking lot, across from Starbucks.
It will be open from 10:45 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
Founded in 1993, Chipotle is best known for its made-to-order tacos, burritos, salads and bowls.
Company spokeswoman Annie Gradinger said the Frazer location will feature a “Chipotlane,” a drive-thru lane where people can pick up digital orders without leaving their vehicles. It is the second Chipotlane in the Pittsburgh area, Gradinger said. The first one opened in July at The Waterfront in Homestead.
The restaurant also will offer carne asada, available for a limited time and a “fan favorite,” Gradinger said.
