A car crashed into a house in the Natrona section of Harrison late Saturday.

The crash was reported along Federal Street just before 11 p.m. The driver was reportedly taken to a hospital. It was unclear if they or anyone in the house were hurt.

Firefighters from several area departments helped with patient extrication and containment, according to a social media post by Citizens Hose. The car was removed from the structure overnight.

Township police said no information would be released Sunday.

There are several mid-1800s row houses along Federal Street that were constructed by Penn Salt Manufacturing Co., which at one time produced chemicals for home and industrial use. The homes surrounding the factory were for workers.

The site of the crash is about a half mile from where 11-year-old Roxanne Alexis Bonnoni was hit by a car Tuesday and killed. At least one township official anticipates a discussion about safety on North Canal Street during a commissioners meeting Monday.
