Armstrong County drug task force arrests 3, uncovers stolen handgun, in Ford City
The Armstrong County drug task force arrested three individuals in Ford City on drug-related charges Tuesday.
Laval Bruce, 23, of Pittsburgh, Ericka Jean Golden, 23, of Braddock and Melissa Jane Kladny, 47, of Ford City, will face various charges regarding possession of and intent to deliver controlled substances, as well as conspiracy, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Police served a search warrant to Kladny’s home Jan. 22 after, they say, she delivered crack cocaine to an informant’s residence in Ford City, according to a statement from Armstrong County District Attorney Katie Charlton.
Police say they found crack cocaine, heroin, a stolen 9mm handgun, 10 rounds of ammunition, drug paraphernalia and large amounts of cash in Kladny’s home, according to the statement.
Additional arrests are expected.
Bruce, Golden and Kladny were arraigned before District Judge Kevin McCausland and a $75,000 bonds were placed on all three. They are scheduled for a preliminary hearing before District Judge J. Gary DeComo on Feb. 5.
