Emergency services were called to the parking lot of the O’Hara GetGo along Freeport Road on Wednesday morning after an armored truck caught fire.

Just before 7:40 a.m., drivers and shoppers saw a GardaWorld truck catch fire in the parking.

Allegheny County 911 said the scene was cleared around 9:52 a.m. There were no patients treated by medics on scene, County dispatchers said.

GardaWorld armored trucks typically transport money and other valuable items.

So far, no cause for the fire has been released.
