No one was reported injured when a house caught fire Saturday afternoon in Upper Burrell.

The fire broke out at a house at 205 Rocky Lane just before 6 p.m, according to a Westmoreland 911 dispatcher.

The fire was under control within about 25 minutes, according to the dispatcher. Firefighters continued to probe the home to make sure the fire was out by opening some walls and ceilings.

Firefighters will later use a special heat-detecting camera to check for otherwise undetected fire.

Volunteers from nine fire companies responded as did two tanker trucks. The include: Upper Burrell, Washington Township, both Lower Burrell departments, Arnold, Markle, Sardis, White Valley and Allegheny Township.
