2 hurt in 2-vehicle crash in New Kensington

Two people were hurt in a crash in New Kensington on Thursday night.

The two-vehicle crash happened at Tarentum Bridge and Leechburg roads around 9:30 p.m., a Westmoreland County emergency dispatcher said.

One person was taken by ambulance to Allegheny Valley Hospital; the other was taken by ambulance to Allegheny General Hospital.

No information about the crash was available from New Kensington police Friday morning.

Police cleared the scene at 10:30 p.m., the county dispatcher said.
