Two injured in motorcycle-car collision in McKeesport

A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision with a car Saturday evening in McKeesport.

The crash was reported to Allegheny County 911 just after 6 p.m. in the 3000 block of Walnut Street.

The 21-year-old man suffered head injuries and was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, according to county police. The driver of the car, a 71-year-old woman, had minor injuries and also was taken for treatment at a hospital, police said.

Additional details weren’t immediately available.

County detectives are investigating the crash. Anyone with information about the collision is asked to call the county police tip line at 1-833-255-8477.
