Pittsburgh police said they arrested a third man this week for allegedly shooting two teenagers in the city’s Sheraden neighborhood last Thanksgiving Day.

Queshawn Williams, 18, of McKeesport was arrested Tuesday by U.S. marshals and Pittsburgh police.

He faces charges of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal attempt at homicide, conspiracy, and illegal possession of a firearms, in connection with the shootings of a 15-year-old boy and 18-year-old man in the 700 block of Sherwood Avenue, police said.

Both victims survived.

Williams was placed in the Allegheny County Jail in Pittsburgh, where he was detained without any bond set because of the seriousness of the crime.

Two co-defendants, Akir Williams, 19, of Pittsburgh, and Jordan McMeans, 21, of Pittsburgh, were previously arrested on the same charges. They’ve been in thecounty jail with no bail set for the same reason as Queshawn Williams. McMeans also was charged with possession of stolen property.

Akir Williams has been in jail since Dec. 12, and McMeans has been in jail since Feb. 1, according to records with the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial Court System website.

City police were able to idenify the suspects within about a week of the Nov. 24 shooting, according to the court system website.

Both victims were treated at the hospital and have recovered, according to authorities. Patrol officers from the city’s Zone 6 Station performed quick life-saving measures on one of the victims, which was crucial in not only saving his life, but also expediting his recovery from substantial injuries, police said.

The trio were caught by the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and the Pittsburgh police fugitive apprehension unit. Police did not reveal where they men were arrested or if there was any resistance during the arrests.
