Pittsburgh’s SWAT team responded to a residence in the city’s Larimer neighborhood Monday night following a shooting, city police said.

Police initially responded about 7:20 p.m. to a shooting in the 6400 block of Shetland Street. The man who was shot was taken to the hospital by private vehicle and was in critical condition, police said.

Another man was shot in the leg and was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said.

SWAT was called to the scene after multiple residents exited a house and told police two men were barricaded inside, and possibly armed, police said.

Police received permission to enter, but no one was inside, police said.
