South Side church among buildings hit by graffiti vandal

A sample of a graffiti tag, “AChizz,” by an individual Pittsburgh police have identified as a “prolific tagger” hitting the South Side and Oakland areas.

Pittsburgh police said they are working to identify a graffiti tagger whose recent targets include a South Side church.

A custodian discovered graffiti on the front and back of Holy Assumption of St. Mary Orthodox Church, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported.

Pittsburgh police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person they described as a “prolific tagger” hitting the South Side and Oakland areas. His tag is “AChizz.”

His tag matches the marks on St. Mary’s, WPXI reported.

Anyone with information can call police on a confidential tip line at 412-495-6052.
