Photos: Baldwin seniors leave their mark on high school
Though the covid-19 pandemic closed schools for months, the virus couldn’t stop tradition at Baldwin High School.
Students were there Wednesday for the school’s annual Senior Handprint Day. Each year since the high school was renovated in 2010, members of the graduating class were invited to write their names and leave their handprints in purple paint on a wall inside one of the school’s stairwells.
The event was scheduled to be held in April, but was pushed back for the safety of students and staff. Participants were required to wear masks and practice social distancing, with only a handful of students allowed inside the stairwell at a time.
