Pleasant Hills Community Day
Pleasant Hills Borough is seeking a volunteer to take the lead and coordinate the 2021 Community Day Event scheduled for Aug. 7 at Mowry Park.
The borough is also in need of volunteers to help the event run smoothly.

Women’s Business Network
Women’s Business Network provides members with the tools to be successful while expanding her circle of influence and marketplace. All professional women are welcome to attend as a guest at the meeting for no charge. Pleasant Hills Library open
Pleasant Hills Library is now open by appointment for quick browsing and limited computer use. Properly worn masks are mandatory. Lobby pick up of requested items remains the same.
Library programs continue virtually and the program schedule can be found online at pleasanthillslibrary.org. The library offers craft pickup kits for different age groups, including adults, and visit the library’s Facebook page for weekly story time videos.

Jefferson Hills appointments
Jefferson Hills council recently approved appointing residents to various boards and commissions.
Daniel Chiacchia was reappointed to the zoning hearing board for a tern ending Dec. 31, 2025.
Dean Collins was appointed to the zoning hearing board to finish the term of Beverly McConeghy ending Dec. 31, 2024.
Kevin Polick was appointed to the environmental advisory council for a term ending Dec. 31, 2024.
