Residents and fans turned out to welcome the Mt. Lebanon high school football team on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021. The Blue Devils won their first state title beating St. Joseph’s Prep 35-17 on Saturday night in Hershey.

Hundreds of people celebrated Mt. Lebanon’s PIAA Class 6A football championship with a parade in the municipality on a sun-splashed Sunday.

The Blue Devils won their first-ever state title Saturday in Hershey by beating St. Joseph’s Prep of Philadelphia 35-17.

Mt. Lebanon completed its 2021 season undefeated.
