Charges handled by judges in Brentwood, South Park for the week of Feb. 3, 2021
District court judges in Brentwood and South Park handled these criminal cases recently. Defendants will have court dates set in the appropriate district courts or the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas.
Judge Ralph Kaiser, Brentwood
• Paul Vogel, 52, of Jefferson Hills on charges of causing an accident involving an attended vehicle and failure to stop to render aid. Charges were filed by Baldwin police on Jan. 22.
• Antoine Smith, 23, of Pittsburgh on charges of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under a revoked or suspended license and improper obstruction in windshield. Charges were filed by Brentwood police on Jan. 25.
• Alex Osbourne, 28, of Pittsburgh on charges of receiving stolen property, driving under a revoked or suspended license and a DUI. Charges were filed by Brentwood police on Jan. 27.
Judge Michael Thatcher, South Park
• Shawn Paul Wanner, 48, of Monessen on charges of possession of drugs with intent to deliver, driving without a license, driving under a revoked or suspended license, speeding and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed by Jefferson Hills police on Jan. 20.
• Matthew Allen Miller, 26, of West Newton on charges of causing an accident involving damage to an attended vehicle, failing to use turning signals, illegal racing, careless driving, failure to stop to render aid and failure to notify police of an accident. Charges were filed by Jefferson Hills police on Jan. 20.
• Joshua Smithson, 29, of Jefferson Hills on charges of making terroristic threats, resisting arrest, harassment and criminal mischief. Charges were filed by Jefferson Hills police on Jan. 20.
• Paul W. Kennedy, 55, of New Eagle on charges of aggravated assault and simple assault. Charges were filed by Pleasant Hills police on Jan. 21.
• John Murrio, 60, of South Park on charges of strangulation, making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment. Charges were filed by South Park police on Jan. 23.
• James Anthony Zusinas, 38, of Clairton on charges of aggravated harassment by a prisoner, institutional vandalism, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness. Charges were filed by Jefferson Hills police on Jan. 24.
• Francis Flore Presto, 79, of South Park on charges of unlawful use of a computer, interference with primaries and elections and forging and destroying ballots. Charges were filed by South Park on Jan. 28.
