A man was hospitalized in stable condition Tuesday after being shot in Pittsburgh’s East Hills neighborhood.

Public Safety spokeswoman Cara Cruz said officers were dispatched shortly after 8 p.m. to the 2300 block of East Hills Drive after a ShotSpotter alert reported 11 rounds had been fired.

Police found a man who had been shot in the arm. Officers applied a tourniquet and offered care until medics took him to a hospital.

Cruz said one vehicle was damaged by gunfire, but no other victims were reported. Penn Hills police assisted on scene.

No information about possible suspects was released.

Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Pittsburgh Police at 412-323-7800.
