Sewickley area student news for the week of June 24, 2022
The following students were named to the Dean’s List at Ohio University for the spring 2022 semester: Andy Chrvala, Alexa Otto, Michael Mucha, Jamma Downey and Camden Kiggins.
Margaret Gerlach, daughter of Gregory and Karen Gerlach of Sewickley, received a bachelor of arts in educational studies and French & Francophone studies, magna cum laude, from Dickinson College. The Shady Side Academy alum was also named to the dean’s list, and received departmental honors in French &Francophone studies, as well as The Northeast Conference on the Teaching of Foreign Languages Award.
Christopher Tyler Diggans received a doctor of philosophy in physics from Clarkson University in May.
Jackson Paul and Katherine Smith, both pursuing bachelor of science in business in finance degrees, were named to the Dean’s List at Miami University.
Alaina Giovengo graduated summa cum laude from Baldwin Wallace University with a bachelor of arts in communication studies.
Jessica Lamperski, an elementary education major, and Gabrielle Schultz, an intelligence analysis major, were named to the Dean’s List at James Madison University for the spring 2022 semester.
