State police are investigating a crash involving a Sewickley Academy school bus.

Sewickley police were among the first on scene Tuesday around 5 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio River Boulevard and River Road.

Police Chief Dave Mazza said the bus and two other vehicles were traveling northbound along the boulevard when one of them attempted to make a left onto River Road.

The vehicle behind the turning one crossed into the right lane to get around it and hit the bus, Mazza reported.

He said there were some students on the bus. No injuries were reported.

The intersection is at the Glen Osborne/Haysville border. Sewickley police patrol Glen Osborn while state police cover Haysville.

Mazza said state police took over the investigation. Crews cleared the scene shortly before 6 p.m.
