Beth Samuel Jewish Center in Ambridge

Beth Samuel Jewish Center

Beth Samuel Jewish Center holds Shabbat Morning Services every Saturday at 10 a.m. in person and on Zoom.

Fairmount Presbyterian Church

Fairmount Presbyterian Church offers Sunday School: 9 a.m. on Sundays. Worship service takes place on Sundays at 10 a.m. Wednesday prayer is offered at 6:30 p.m.

Fairmount is celebrating its 200-year anniversary this year. It was founded in 1822 and has been serving God and the community for the past 200 years.

Sewickley Presbyterian Church

Summer worship services are at 8 and 10 a.m. Sundays.

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will host a community-wide picnic with food, live music and games for children from 2-6 p.m. Aug. 28 at War Memorial Park in Sewickley. All ages are welcome.

St. Paul’s is also inviting area church leaders to talk about what social programs they have, and how they can best serve the needs of the Quaker Valley area. There is no cost to attend.

The church is also collecting items for its fall rummage sale now through Sept. 5. It is accepting gently used clothing, household items, kitchenware, bedding, toys, books and small pieces of furniture. No large furniture, electronics, or VHS tapes. Drop off your items at the Washington Street courtyard entrance (near the mailbox).

The Fall Rummage Sale will be held noon to 5 p.m. Sept. 9, and beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 10.
