No one was injured in a fire early Monday in Sewickley, according to Allegheny County emergency dispatchers.

Crews responded to a call just after 5 a.m. in the 800 block of Centennial Avenue. Flames and smoke were billowing from the second floor when crews arrived.

Multiple departments responded to put out the fire.

Three people were able to escape the home after one of the residents, sleeping in the basement, woke to the smell of smoke, according to Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV.

The family’s dog, a Yorkie, has not yet been located.

Crews are investigating the cause.
