As coronavirus cases continue to surge in Allegheny County and across the country, the Sewickley area’s numbers remain conservative.

As of Jan. 27, there have been 203 total cases of the novel coronavirus in the Borough of Sewickley since March, according to the latest information provided by an interactive Allegheny County covid-19 map. One death has been reported, and 1,304 tests have been administered to Sewickley residents.

Sewickley’s case rate is 530 per 10,000 residents.

Since the pandemic began, Sewickley Heights has had 69 cases (one death), Sewickley Hills has had 28 (no deaths), Edgeworth’s count is 46 (one death), Leetsdale has had 44 (no deaths), Leet has had 67 (one death), and Glen Osborne has recorded 15 cases (no deaths).

Of all of the communities, Sewickley Height’s case rate is the highest at 8.5%.
