Sewickley Music Club
The Sewickley Music Club’s third musical program of the year will be a festive performance by Bryan Sable, pianist, called “Christmas at the Keys!”
Sable graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Music Education from West Liberty State College and holds a M.Ed. in Administration, K-12, from California University of Pennsylvania. His musical experience is vast with Professional Core of The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, assistant conductor of the Junior Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, musical director at Christ United Methodist Church in Wheeling, and music assistant at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Mt. Lebanon, just to name a few. He is currently serving Coraopolis United Methodist Church as director of music.
Club members will meet for the festive holiday event at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13 at Divine Redeemer Parish – St. James, 200 Walnut St. in Sewickley.

Rotary scholarships
The Bob Williams Rotary Memorial Scholarship Program has scholarships available for the 2022-2023 academic year. In recent years, at least eight scholarships at $5,000 each have been awarded. High school seniors in Allegheny and Beaver Counties are eligible to apply. Vocational students, G.E.D students and those attending parochial, charter and private schools are also eligible.
Students must have a 2.5 or higher grade point average and also must complete an essay, which highlights their community/school service, as part of the application submission.

Free Toy Store
Walking the Talk is having its second annual Free Toy Store 9 a.m. Dec. 10 at St. Matthews AME Zion Church. It provides the ability for people who are in need of Christmas presents to come and “shop” for them at our event. All are new, unwrapped toys, enabling people to provide a smile on the face of their families for Christmas. To sign up, email your name, number of children, gender and ages to walkingthetalktoydrive@gmail.com. Donations toward the drive are accepted as well.
Business Connection
The Greater Pittsburgh Business Connection, a referral group of business professionals, will meet Dec. 14 at Eat’n Park on Route 60 in Robinson for breakfast from 7:15 to 8:30 a.m. Speakers will be John McLay of WesBanco and Jason Henze of Overhead Door Company of Pittsburgh. Senior Men’s Club
