Edgeworth’s inaugural borough Easter Egg hunt had about 80 children celebrate the occasion with the Easter bunny at Way Park April 1.

Borough manager John Schwend called the event a great success and noted the help of firefighters from Cochran Hose Co. and officers from the Edgeworth Police Department.

Families met the Easter bunny and took photos. Children scattered about the park and collected eggs.

Schwend said Jill Stehnach of the Stehnach Group was a great partner in the event, and the borough looks forward to having it again next year.
