The northbound Washington Boulevard (Route 8) ramp to the Highland Park Bridge will close Thursday night, April 20, according to PennDOT.

The ramp will close to traffic from 8 p.m. Thursday night through 4 a.m. Friday morning, as PennDOT crews patch the deck and repair barriers there.

Traffic will be detoured northbound on Route 8.

After continuing northbound, drivers are recommended to follow Butler Street to the 62nd Street Bridge, turn right onto the 62nd Street Bridge , take the ramp toward Sharpsburg to Route 28, turn right toward Sharpsburg and right onto North Main Street.

They can then follow North Main Street back to the Highland Park Bridge.
