Scottdale Bank & Trust names new VP and retail market manager

Scottdale Bank & Trust appointed a new vice president and retail market manager Friday.

The Millersburg-based bank hired Tiffany R.M. Guittap, a Uniontown resident, to help the bank reach financial goals and build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout Westmoreland and Fayette counties.

With 13 years of banking and financial consultancy experience, Guittap will also provide investment and financial services to the bank, which is a division of Mid Penn Bancorp, Inc.

Guittap has previously worked at WesBanco Bank, Inc. and WesBanco Security as a licensed business development manager and officer in West Virginia. Prior to that, the Connellsville native worked for National City Bank and NatCity Investment, PNC Bank and PNC Investments and First Niagara Bank and First Niagara Investment Services.

Guittap has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in economics from California University of Pennsylvana. She earned a masters degree from the school’s Institute of Law and Public Policy. She also has a degree in marketing management and is a cohort graduate of FayPenn, Fayette Leader’s Academy.

Guittap serves as chair of IMPACT Fayette and is involved with the American Heart Association’s executive committee, March of Dimes, FayPenn Economic Development Council and the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, who presented her with the 2017 Young Professional Leadership Award and the 2016 Superhero in Business award.
