A Pennsylvania Powerball Lottery player in Washington County won $1 million in Saturday’s drawing, lottery officials said.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 20-24-38-56-68, but not the red Powerball 18, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding.

The Sheetz store at 300 Racetrack Road in North Strabane, near the Meadows Racetrack & Casino, will earn a $5,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials said the winner will not be known until he or she claims the prize and the ticket is validated. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.

The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest lottery office.

More than 52,200 other Powerball tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 11,800 tickets purchased with Power Play.

No one hit the $321 million Powerball jackpot Saturday, so Wednesday’s drawing will roll to an estimated annuity value of $343 million, or $233.3 million cash.
