Power was restored to hundreds of homes in New Brighton after a car crash caused an outage Sunday night.

At least 600 Duquesne Light customers were without power after a car crashed into a pole around 10 p.m. on Penn Avenue, Tribune-Review news partner WPXI-TV reported.

Police told the station that the driver was not hurt.

As of 4 a.m., Duquesne Light’s outage website showed power had been fully restored.

At 4:30 a.m., WPXI was reporting that Penn Avenue remained closed at Allegheny Street as crews were still at the scene.
