State police said they are searching for two people who stole a large safe from a Beaver County business on Dec. 10, 2019.

State police said they are searching for two people who stole a large safe from a Beaver County business earlier this month.

The suspects were captured on a surveillance camera loading the safe into the bed of a pickup, according to state police.

Police said the theft happened at Parsons Inc. on Hanover Kendall Road in Hanover Township early Dec. 10. The business deals in septic tanks, tires, plumbing and electrical supplies, and hardware.

The two suspects got inside and took money from a cash register and the large Liberty 36-gun safe, police said. The safe contained money and documents, a trooper said.

The safe was loaded into the bed of an early 2000s Dodge Dakota four-door pickup, which was described as two-toned, grey and silver, with rust damage to the passenger-side rear door and the driver-side rear fender and bed area.

The truck also may have damage to the tailgate from the safe falling on it, state police said.

Anyone with information about the suspects or vehicle is asked to call state police in Beaver at 724-773-7400.
