New Cranberry liquor store first to feature tasting room
The first state liquor store that includes a tasting room opens Friday in Cranberry.
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board will hold a grand opening for the new Fine Wine & Good Spirits Premium Collection location at 4 p.m. Friday at the Cranberry Mall, Phase III Shopping Center at 20111 Route 19.
The store will offer a 10% discount on all in-store wines and spirits from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The store has an expanded floor plan, greater selection and a central service point, the liquor control board said in a release.
The store is the first to feature a tasting room. Wine and spirits tasting programs will be held in the 830-square-foot space.
The tasting room will hold its first official event from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday, a recurring presentation and tasting by an Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey brand ambassador.
From 6 to 8 p.m., a Breakthru Beverage Group — Majestic Division brand ambassador will talk about three whiskeys and demonstrate how to make cocktails featuring their spirits.
Other wine and spirits tastings will be held starting at noon Friday.
